Funun Arts Group, in collaboration with Daftar Restaurant, proudly inaugurated Abstract Connection, an exclusive art exhibition showcasing the works of four talented and experienced artists. This unique event marked the beginning of a cultural journey that will bring similar immersive experiences to the UAE every month, combining fine art with intimate dialogue and community engagement.
Abstract Connection is not a conventional art exhibition-it is an interactive experience. Centered around four outstanding artists representing diverse backgrounds and techniques, the exhibition went beyond visual appreciation. Panel talks allowed each artist to narrate their personal journeys, explain their styles of work, and share the inspiration behind their paintings. The aim was to create a direct bridge between creators and the audience, encouraging dialogue, reflection, and deeper connection with art.

The Featured artists are Rafah Abdul Razzak, Yuvika Grag, Jivan and Rita Chehab.
Rafah Abdul Razzak (Syria) – A versatile Syrian artist and owner of Reem Art Gallery, Rafah is known
for her experimentation with various mediums, from embroidery and graphite to acrylic and oils.
Statement: “Art is my way of redefining boundaries. Every stroke represents resilience and the desire
to evolve. Through this exhibition, I wanted to show how creativity has the power to connect people
across cultures.”
Yuvika Garg (India) – An Indian artist whose work captures intricate narratives of tradition and
modernity.
Statement: “My paintings are stories woven in color. Exhibiting at Daftar allowed me to share these
stories with an audience that truly listens and reflects. It was an enriching dialogue.”
Jivan (Armenia) – An abstract Expressionist with over 38 years of experience.
Statement: “Art taught me that art lives not just on canvases but in spaces where people breathe and
interact. This exhibition was a continuation of that philosophy—bringing art closer to life.”
Rita Chehab (Lebanon) – A Lebanese artist whose work bridges emotional intensity with refined
technique.
Statement: “Art is deeply personal, yet profoundly universal. Standing alongside such diverse artists
reaffirmed my belief that creativity transcends borders and languages.”
Abstract Connection is envisioned as the first in a series of monthly exhibitions. Next spotlight will be
