Hayat Events & Arts Returns with the Third Edition of Its Global Art Exhibition
Freedom has never carried a single meaning. For some, it is the courage to speak. For others, it is the strength to leave, the right to belong, or the quiet decision to finally live without apology.
In its third edition, Freedom, presented, curated and organized by Hayat Events & Arts, brought together 18 artists from diverse cultures, backgrounds, and creative disciplines for a powerful international virtual exhibition.
Freedom: 3rd Edition reflects that vision at its core. It is not simply an exhibition about breaking chains. It is about understanding the many invisible forms those chains can take. It honours the artist who creates despite fear, the individual who speaks despite being silenced, and every person who continues searching for a life that feels authentically their own.
Across the collection, freedom emerged in countless forms. It appeared as resistance against limitation, release from emotional confinement, liberation from social expectations, and the courage to reclaim one’s identity. Some artworks spoke loudly through bold colours and fearless compositions, while others communicated through silence, symbolism, texture, and restraint. Together, they revealed that freedom is not always dramatic. Sometimes, it begins internally, in the moment a person chooses to stop shrinking themselves for the comfort of the world.
The third edition proudly featured the work of:
Anjini Prakash Laitu, Ayanbusola Tomi, Dr. (H.C.) Avigyan Bhattacharya, Edcel Cabalan, EGEDI. Fatima Ahmed, Galya Iskrenova – Gülay, Jaimee Reyes, Krista Yap, Nazmin Rasheed, Peter Ványik, Radha Bhatia, Ratna Pattnaik, Rayan Shahid, Safa Peshimam, Sarah Peshimam, Szilvia Viczian and Yashi Khatanhar,
Each artist brought a distinctive creative language to the exhibition. Their collective presence transformed Freedom into a meeting point of cultures, experiences, and perspectives, demonstrating how art can connect people even when their personal realities are profoundly different.
Now in its third edition, the exhibition continues to grow as a global platform for artistic expression and meaningful connection. By presenting the showcase virtually, Hayat Events & Arts allowed creativity to move beyond geographical borders and reach audiences around the world. The artists were not separated by nationality, distance, age, or artistic style. They were united by a shared human desire: to be seen, heard, understood, and free.
Founded by sisters Safa Peshimam and Sarah Peshimam, Hayat Events & Arts was created with a vision to make the creative world more inclusive, accessible, and interconnected. Through more than 34 exhibitions, cultural events, fashion showcases, awards, workshops, and international collaborations, the UAE-based platform has continued to provide emerging and established creatives with opportunities for visibility and recognition. Hayat is also recognised for pioneering the integration of art and fashion within the UAE’s independent creative event space.
The exhibition also stands as a reminder that creative expression is itself an act of freedom. Through art, emotions that cannot be spoken can still be understood. Personal experiences become universal conversations, while pain, memory, resistance, and hope are transformed into something that can be witnessed by others.
Through every artist and every artwork presented in this global exhibition, that freedom lives on.
