The 5th Edition of the Annual Student Art Show (ASAS) 2025, organized by Funun Arts Group and
Youth Creative Minds Hub in collaboration with Amity University Dubai, has once again redefined
the landscape of art, education, and community collaboration in the UAE. This year’s monumental
event not only showcased the creative spirit of youth from across the world but also made history by
achieving two World Records:
Largest International Student Art Exhibition
Largest Canvas Painting on the Theme “We Are One”
Held at Amity University Dubai on 1st and 2nd November 2025, the event transformed the academic
city campus into a vibrant celebration of creativity, innovation, and unity. Over 1,200 students from
more than 60 nationalities, including Emirati students, Students of Determination, and international
participants from India, Canada, Egypt, Oman, Congo, and Pakistan, came together to express the
spirit of harmony through art.

The event was supported by Dubai Art and Culture. With the support of Dubai Culture & Arts
Authority (Dubai Culture), ASAS 2025 gains the backing of the entity responsible for shaping Dubai’s
cultural and creative industries. The Authority’s involvement underscores its mission to position the
emirate as a global centre for culture, an incubator for creativity, and a thriving hub for talent, while
reflecting its commitment to empowering youth, fostering innovation, and making the arts an
essential part of everyday life.
It was a Celebration of Unity Through Art, under the inspiring theme “We Are One,” ASAS 2025
embodied the values of togetherness, creativity, and cultural understanding. The event marked a
turning point in youth-led artistic expression, reflecting the UAE’s vision of inclusivity, innovation,
and global connection.

The program opened with a grand Art Parade, where participating schools proudly carried their flags
and creative banners, followed by a Qur’an recitation, UAE and India national anthems, and a warm
welcome speech by Ms. Shiba Khan, Founder & Director of Funun Arts Group, who shared her
heartfelt gratitude for the collective effort that brought this milestone to life.
The two-day art festival was graced by a distinguished lineup of dignitaries, cultural icons, and art
leaders, whose presence elevated the event’s prestige and international relevance.
Among the notable guests were Mr. Khalil Abdul Wahid (Director of Fine Arts, Dubai Culture), Mr.
Faisal Abdul Qadir, Mr. Atul Panase, Ms. Meena Kamal, Ms. Sultana Farooq Kazim, Mr. Ahmed Al
Awadhi, and Ms. Harjyot Oberoi (Marketing Head, Khaleej Times). The event also welcomed H.E.
Abdullah Al Maainah, Mr. Mohd. Al Rawahy (Oman), Ms. Kusum Dutta, Ms. Ambika Vohra, Ms.
Daizy Paul, Ms. Parie Stoneman, Mr. Ayush Gupta, Mr. Firoz Khan, Ms. Ayesha Shaik, and Mr.
Peter Gressman, among others.

Together, they applauded the young artists for their talent and the organizers for their unwavering
commitment to nurturing the next generation of creatives.

- The Largest Canvas Painting, where hundreds of students collaborated on a monumental
150-meter artwork symbolizing peace, diversity, and unity.

Behind the grandeur of ASAS 2025 stood a devoted team of 225 individuals — including mentors,
artist volunteers, youth ambassadors, student volunteers, technical teams, and faculty members
from Amity University Dubai — who worked tirelessly to bring this vision to life.
Mentors – The Guiding Lights
Renowned art educators and practitioners such as Alok Skaria, Aditi Jaju, Amina Naeem, Asiya
Khanum, Chandana Vinekar, Dr. Hafsa Banu, Dr. Nafisa Sayed , Kadambini Choubey, Kashish
Rabban, Kavita Sriram, Laith Fathi Ahmad, Madhuri Musani, Maria Komal Abie, Marwa
Mohammed, Mussarat Yasmin Abid, Paulomi Kiritsinh Rana, Rehab Aly Badr, Saida Banu, Shaima
Shawky, Shana Yasmin, Shatha Jamal, Soobika Fawad, Stefania Pomillo, Sumedha Randev Goel,
Vijita Moray, Yuvika Garg, Mai Yehia Abbas, Neha Dua, Rafah Abdul Razzak, Ritika Shah, Samishka
Jawale, Swapnil Jawale, and Leena Kewlani. They mentored students through the creative process,
ensuring every participant experienced artistic growth and confidence.
Artist Volunteers – The Creative Force a dynamic group of artists, including Aaliyah Mohammed,
Adina Mazhar, Ankitha Gupta Surisetty, Azeeza Siddiqi, Debra S. Mascarenhas, Dr. Poonam
Chauhan, Fariza Devanli, Fathima Nazrina, Manjari Choudhary, Monia Sahraoui, Nashwa
Zaghamero and Niyati Madhavi. Their contributions infused life into every corner of the exhibition
hall.
Student leaders and youth volunteers played key roles in organizing workshops, guiding guests, and
assisting participants. Their energy and dedication embodied the essence of community service
through art.
The second day of ASAS 2025 was dedicated to interactive creative workshops, conducted by
leading art educators and organizations including Art Splash, Art Mystic, and The Green Revolution.
Artists and Mentors, Soobika Fawad, Mussarat Yasmin, Swapnil Jawale, Team of International School
of Creative Science, Sharjah, Dr. Anumeha, Sumya Mishra, Mr. Joshua conducted the workshops
where students explored techniques in printmaking, clay modeling, decoupage, pastel skies, tote-
bag printing, Arabic calligraphy, and counseling sessions — transforming classrooms into immersive
learning studios.
Cultural performances by Dance Central and the SNF Development Center added rhythm and
emotion to the event, celebrating inclusivity and artistic expression in its purest form.

The student art exhibition was a breathtaking display of creativity, featuring vibrant paintings,
mixed-media installations, and sculptures that reflected the global theme of unity. The showcase
brought together schools from across the UAE— each proudly representing their students’ artistic
achievements.
Global and local gallery partners such as The Crearting (Congo), Nafisa Sayeda (Canada), Art &
Talent Zone (Egypt), Pinaaki Art Centre (India), F.S. Karachwala (Pakistan), Reem Gallery, The
Creative Cubes, DIAC, Artezaar, and Diarbid (UAE) brought an international dimension to the
exhibition, connecting art communities across continents.
The unprecedented success of ASAS 2025 was made possible through the collective strength of
