Global Women Leadership Awards Endorsed Women for Their Commendable Leadership Performance

June has proved to be the month for leadership. Dubai entrepreneurs, business executives and women leaders gathered together under the leadership of Nousheen Mukhtar to witness commendable progress by women in various sectors. The event was organized in Double Tree by Hilton Al Jaddaf on 3rd of June 2022 to acknowledge the efforts of women in major industries including technology, sustainability, green energy, retail, CSR, business development, innovation, fashion, medicine, healthcare and more. It was primarily an awards ceremony held under the brand name of Nousheen Mukhtar International a PR agency with a difference.

The ceremony was chaired by the ambassador of Moldova, H.E. Victor Haruta and ambassador of Commonwealth of Dominica H.E. Hubert John Charles. The ambassadors appreciated the works of women entrepreneur in Dubai in their speeches and invited them to work in communion with women from Moldova and the Common Wealth of Dominica to make a global impact with relevance to woman empowerment and financial independence.

Global Women Leadership Awards 2022 was about uplifting the change makers, dreamers, entrepreneurs and women who have made a difference. Women now account for 41% of the global workforce and control more than $20 trillion in annual spending. Predictions are that this number will go up to $28 trillion in the next few years. Within the UAE the story is even more interesting. According to the Ministry of Economy, about half of the small-to-medium enterprise sector in the UAE is handled by women; further, 48 per cent of women business owners are also the sole owners of their firms. “With this it is imperative to uplift women by recognizing their efforts to contribute remarkably towards the socio-economic development of the UAE and beyond” says Nousheen Mukhtar, CEO of Nousheen Mukhtar International and Stylfemina.

Various entrepreneurs from different parts of the world travelled to attend the Global Women Leadership Awards ceremony. Cathy Dimarchos, a global business advisor, business mentor, coach and author travelled from Sydney to be awarded for her commendable work in empowering entrepreneurs through strategic business growth process. Noshin Paracha, Founder of SSIS School and Maymaar Educational Foundation in Islamabad, Pakistan joined women leaders in Dubai and said, “I am so proud of women leaders who are shining tonight, they truly deserve the recognition. We all are a tribe now and aim at working together for a brighter future”.

The awardees were delighted to network and find common ground of elevation during Global Women Leadership Awards. The women leaders included renowned leaders such as Sanja Radlovacki, the executive director of UAE Serbia Business Club, Aysha Suleiman, the HR director of Rakez, Mona Suleiman, a well-known entrepreneur and Emirati influencer among many others. Sponsored and organized by Nousheen Mukhtar International, this event concluded at a high note of women development program to be initiated in cooperation with Tawazoun headed by Hanane Benkhallouk.
